MF Event is a Cape Town based event management company, specialising in all aspects of the MICE industry (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Events). Our dynamic team has capacity for small, medium and large events. We have the experience, know-how, understanding and knowledge to ensure a unique personalised experience.
Price wise
Our smaller teams ensure greater accountability and flexibility which benefits our clients. MF Event deal with the same tour operators, hotel groups and airlines as all our competitors. Our prices are on par, or sometimes better since we do not have to satisfy shareholders of a large conglomerate. Our clients require value for their money, and that is what we offer.

Vivienne joined MF Event cc in July 2018 as majority shareholder. Since joining MF Event, her first priority was the growth and financial stability of the company. This has helped MF Event to survive and even thrive during and after the Covid pandemic. Vivienne enjoys getting involved in the world of travel and events. Her sound business knowledge and entrepreneurial capacity has made the team so much more dynamic.
Experience
After finishing school, Vivienne was appointed as a messenger/filing clerk at an auditing firm. With her small salary, she financed the studies of her three younger siblings, giving them the opportunity to study full time. At the time she did not envisage that one day she herself will be a qualified Chartered Accountant and business partner at the very firm where she started as a filing clerk.
Ten years after leaving school, she finally had the opportunity to commence part time studies through UNISA. Today she is a partner at the firm, Haak Fourie Snyman. Vivienne is also an independent director of Barno (Pty) Ltd and a partner in a commercial property and investments firm.
Vivienne has a passion for empowerment and is a role model to many of her peers, her family and her clients.

Public Relations Practitioner working in corporate South Africa in the Financial Services industry co-ordinating events, Incentive Travel, Sponsorships and Media relations with regards to Corporate Social Involvement projects.
2003 – June 2018
Founder of MF Event. We specialise in meetings, incentives, conferences & events (MICE industry) and focus on corporate clients, mostly JSE listed giants.
July 2018
Re-launch MF Event with more capacity and a B-BBEE level 2 contributor.
Marietjie is passionate about the industry as well as about the opportunity to grow the business that she started in 2003. The new partnership has added new skills and especially with regards to business and financial management. MF Event has more capacity to serve our clients and contribute towards skills development and community involvement.
